An internal (non-public)  ESOC Navigation Support Office GNSS station.

The antenna is situated on a mast which is drilled into the rocky ground, at less than a km from the village of Raufarhöfn, Iceland

The site is managed by Neydarlinan ohf, operators of the 112 National Emergency Number, the National Tetra Telecommunication Service and the Icelandic Maritime service.

A joint collaboration between Neydarlinan ohf and ESA/ESOC was established in April 2019.

This station complements the ESOC GNSS station installed one year earlier at Reykjavik.

The station operates a Septentrio PolaRx5 receiver and Septentrio Chokering B3E6 antenna, providing multi-GNSS tracking from this location: GPS, Glonass, Galileo, Beidou and QZSS.
