experts in precise navigation and orbit determination

The Navigation Support Office is ESA's centre of expertise in the precise use of navigation satellite systems.  We contribute to ESA missions, third-party activities, and Europe's key navigation programs: Galileo and EGNOS.

The Office is headquartered at the European Space Operations Centre (ESOC) in Darmstadt, Germany.  Using our state-of-the-art Navigation Facility, our experts advance the theory and operations of precision navigation and timing.
